Photography in 2014

I'm Back!!

Sorry for my lack of blogging the last half of 2014. I have been super busy with a little thing called, Maggie Tait | Photography.

I started this adventure last Easter for family and it has taken off! I have had the opportunity to travel all over the gulf coast and back to my hometown to take pictures for the most precious families.

Starting in January, I will be doing sessions only on Saturdays!
(I still have a day job that keeps me pretty busy!!)

Be on the look out for Easter mini-sessions (with a live bunny)!
More info will be coming soon!

Listed below are my packages and prices.

I love, love being able to capture special moments for families.
Happy New Year!

Summer Part 1 & 2

I feel like the summer just started and then I look at my calendar and I see that it is almost over. Time flies. I have been going nonstop since we got out of school.
Week 21/22..
Adam and I celebrated two years of marriage during this week. We went to New Orleans for a little over night trip. We had the best time eating the good food New Orleans has to offer, shopping, and walking through the streets.

Week 23..
I can't even remember this week. It was the last week of the school year. Enough said.
Week 24..
I finished up with school and headed straight into VBS at our church! We had a great week being agents and learning about God's word and promises.

Week 25..
I turned the big 25 this week! We celebrated by having lunch at one of my favorite spots, Ashland Midtown Pub,  and dinner with my Mom at Kitchen on George! My in-laws insisted on having me a birthday party too! Everyone was so sweet and thoughtful. I am blessed with an amazing family.

My mom was sweet and made my birthday cake to match
the one she made my dad when he turned 25!

Week 26..
Our church took 31 kindergarten-third grade students to KidsWay Camp this week! It is a two night camp, not far from the church, but the kids still get the full camp experience. We had a blast swimming, playing games, and learning about Jesus. The theme was survivor and Adam related all the Bible studies back to that. It totally wore us out!

Week 27..
The 4th of July was a blast. We started the day at Woodlands Swim Club in Mobile. Adam's parents have been members there for years. We met some other family and had the best time together!

After the pool, we headed to Fairhope to eat dinner and see fireworks. Our sweet friends, Mary Grace and Patrick, went with us! We had the best time playing corn hole, having dinner at Moe's, and watching the fireworks.

My little cousin Abbi also stayed with us at the beginning of this week. She loves coming to the "city" and we love having her.

Week 28..
My sweet Aunt Mary went to be with the Lord this week. I went home to be with my family and to see my Pappy, who I miss and do not get to see as much as I wish.
This was my great grandmother's house-my Pappy and Aunt Mary grew up here.
I love it.

My precious Aunt Mary.

I got back to Mobile just in time to dress like a cow!
We will do anything for free chick-fil-a!
During one of these weeks we got to see some of our favorite people, the Alexander family and John. Mat came to preach at DWBC and it worked out that John could come too. It is rare that we are all in one city.  We had the best time catching up!

Week 17-20

Week 17...
My little, new love for photography happened. I found a joy in capturing families and special moments! I recently started a facebook page and have found myself super busy! I love it!
Week 18...
I got to attend a Mother's Day luncheon with my Mom at my home church! These ladies are the most Godly women I know. I am blessed by each of them!
Week 19...
I went to my home town for Memorial. It's a can't miss event with my family. My mom came back to Mobile with me to spend a few days with us. We don't get to see her enough. Her visits are always much needed and so refreshing!

LOVE MY FAMILY!
Week 20..
We took in a little baseball game with our Sunday School class! Go BayBears!

Week 16: Spring Break

I think I heard the angels singing on the Friday we got out for Spring Break! I could not get out of the school fast enough. I definitely had spring fever.

I started out my break by heading to Toxey to visit with friends and family. I never get to go enough, so I take the opportunity when I have it. It is such a breath of fresh air to be with my family.

I headed back to Mobile on Tuesday and had a little down time at home for a few days. Unfortunately, Adam was not on Spring Break, so it was business as usual for him. He did manage to get off Friday so we could head to Sandestin to have a little mini vacation. We left Mobile as soon as he got out of class on Thursday. The drive to Florida isn't a bad drive at all. We were there in no time and I do believe it is my new favorite place. We are making plans to go back this summer. Our sweet, sweet friends invited us to come stay with them a few days and we are so thankful they did.

We arrived around 6:30 pm on Thursday and had a quick dinner. The kids couldn't wait to show us everything, so after dinner we took a tour of the area on the golf cart.

We woke up Friday morning to lots of rain. We got ready and ventured out. Our first stop was back in Destin at the Donut Hole. Oh. My. Gosh. Adam and I may drive back just to go there. The place is amazing. I suggest trying one of everything. You won't regret it.

After breakfast we went back to the house and let the kids go to Baytowne Wharf, which is just a golf cart ride away, to play in the arcade. [At this point it is still pouring down rain.] We made the most of it and had some fun playing games.

The rain finally started to clear up and we got to take a fun bike ride through the area. I snapped this picture on Adam's phone, because of course, mine was dead.

We then headed back to Baytowne Wharf for dinner. After we ate the kids and Adam did the zip line and a few more things. That's right, Vivie is FOUR and did it. The girl is fearless.  The wharf has the cutest shops and the best place to get ice-cream!

The next morning, Saturday, we packed everything up and headed to do a little shopping at the outlets. I scored a few things at Gap! We had lunch with the Tims then said our goodbyes. Adam and I headed to check out the beaches on 30A. We had the best time driving down the highway and stoping in each town to take in everything. We loved it. Adam scored his Easter bow tie while we were there and I got a little seaside lovin!

We made one last stop at the Donut Hole to bring back the delicious goodness.

I am seriously so thankful for the much needed break from school. Now just 28 more days and we are out for SUMMER!!

Sibling Love

If you follow me on Instagram/Facebook you saw where I took pictures of these two sweet children.
Seriously, how sweet!

I got a camera, almost a year ago, and I am doing my research to get better at taking pictures. Annabelle and Davis let me practice on them!

I love nothing more than a simple, classic photo! Annabelle and Davis did absolutely great!

I'll leave you with just one more!! I can't get enough of their cuteness!

If you would like a session, feel free to email me at maggiedoggett@gmail.com, text, or find me on Instagram or Facebook!
