Christmas Card Pictures

I debated whether or not to take Christmas card pictures this year. With it just being the two of us, I didn't think it was worth it. I am so glad we did. Even though there isn't a little one, in the picture, or even a pet I still want to remember these precious moments. The life of just two living at our house.

My sweet friend, Emily Bass, met us one Sunday afternoon and captured a few shots for us. If you are in the Mobile area I highly recommended her. You can find her on Facebook!  Emily does great work.

Here are a few of my favorites..

The Gunns joined us to take their Christmas card pictures too! We love them.

Merry Christmas from Mobile, Alabama!

Christmas at 108..

JAT and I recently moved. I haven't been able to take pictures of our new home because truth is everything is not hung on the walls just yet. I will get there..eventually.
I did get the downstairs 98% complete in time to decorate for Christmas. I wanted to share some Christmas decor pictures!

Merry Christmas from 108..

My Nativity may be my favorite.

LOVE getting Christmas cards from sweet friends and family.

I debated on where and how to hang the stockings in our cozy little living room.
This seemed to be the only place they really fit.

Pillows are a weakness of mine. I know I have too many.

Merry Christmas! We hope your holiday season is filled with JOY.

Thanksgiving 2013

I don't think Adam and I could get to Toxey, Alabama any faster on Tuesday afternoon. We were in desperate need of some down time and Toxey is just the place for that. I love nothing more than spending the holidays in the country. It is simply wonderful and this Thanksgiving was no exception. Adam and I are always so blessed by our trips.

Wednesday..we join the Whittington's for their Thanksgiving meal. My Yvonne is my second mother. After my dad passed away, her and Pop stepped right up and helped my mom raise me. I love y'all so very much. Yvonne may be Adam's favorite person on the planet. He just loves her.
I also got to spend some much needed time with sweet friends Wednesday night. I loved catching up with ladies that I never get to see.
Thursday..was spent eating all of this delicious food.

And most importantly, spending time with my dear grandmother and mom. They are two of my biggest blessings. Thankfulness overwhelms my heart.

We did join in on the Black Friday craziness and scored some sweet deals at our favorite stores.

Therefore, Friday we were super lazy. Just what we needed after a night out and just what we love to be in Toxey.

We headed out, Saturday morning, in time to make it back to Mobile to watch the Iron Bowl.

I am shouting.. ROLL TIDE and my sweet husband is trying to contain his excitement on Auburn's win! I still love my little AU fan, bless him, he doesn't know any better! ha
ROLL. TIDE. ALWAYS.

We have so much to be thankful for, including our little football rivalry. The Lord has truly blessed our family. I give Him all the thanks and praise. I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving!
Happy Holidays!

Wedding Season

I'm back…I thought I would never return.

My days, since I last blogged, have been busy. School and weddings have been on the top of my list lately and they both have totally consumed every free minute. All of my sweet friends are married and school is somewhat (as much as it can) slowing down a bit.

Lets recap the last few weeks/months!

Since I last blogged my sweet high school friend, Shayna, got married. I loved, loved being a part of her special day.

The third graders at ERD went on a field trip and had a student teacher for the month of November. We  also learned some life lessons and a little multiplication (we are still working on this).

Adam and I moved somewhere in between all of this craziness! I seriously have the best husband in the world. He did 99% of the moving by himself. We moved the first weekend in November and are so happy. We loved our little home in Saraland, but we needed to be closer to work and church. We found the perfect little town home and are already in love! (I will share pictures, ASAP!)

The Taits, along with our good friends Hilary and Peyton, traveled to Highlands, North Carolina for, my college friend, Elizabeth's wedding.
It was absolutely beautiful. A great little getaway for us!

And when we got home from that wedding we got ready for another one here in Mobile..tired yet?
My mom was actually in town a whole week for this wedding. It was so fun to have her staying with us! We even got to do a little Christmas Jubilee shopping!!

I will say that the weddings are over for now! I am looking forward to life slowing down and just enjoying the holiday season!
